The original house was built around the mid-19th century by Prot Budziszewski, a local landowner. The building was enlarged in 1890 by the Modlibowski family. It was erected as a two-storey brick building with a hipped roof. After 1945, it was rebuilt and served the residents of the village. Wanda Modlibowska (1909-2001), an early pilot, was born in the house. She was the world record holder of long distance glider flight. During the Second World War she fought in the Resistance to free Poland. Since 2003, she has been the patron of the Poznań Aeroclub.
